During my past career at large international consultancy firms, I was frequently tasked with measuring and communicating the impact of various projects. This often resulted in cumbersome Excel spreadsheets and inefficient and inaccurate checkbox exercises that left much to be desired. Frustrated by these inefficiencies, I decided to leave the industry and co-found ACT, a social enterprise dedicated to accelerating the Green Transition through design that positively impact people and planet on the island of Ireland.

However, ACT faced the same challenge: effectively and accurately communicating impact to our diverse client base. Determined to find a better solution, I built Accelerating Action, an online platform with a quick, user-friendly workflow that allows users to spend less time on assessing impact and more time on delivering it. This purpose-built platform, Accelerating Action, launched in 2022, has since supported national governments, Ireland's SDG Champions, multinationals, universities, local authorities, and even tidy towns—all of which have struggled with impact communication and reporting.
